Breeding

Every Fracctal Monster is 100% visually unique with no repeats. Due to this mechanic, monster breeding can only be accomplished across different elements. Single element monsters are sold in packs and mixed element monsters can be created by breeding. For example, our first monster packs will hold 16 pure plant monsters as well as each combination of their layers for a total of 4096 unique monsters.

Below is an example of breeding a plant monster with a water monster. We can see that six possible combinations exist between these two monsters. If all six of these monsters already exist, then these two monsters will no longer be compatible for breeding.

Our artist has designed a method for masking cross elements, so monsters look more natural. As you may see above, the hue will be based on the predominant element of the monster.

Successfully breeding two monsters produces an egg and does not burn the parents.
