Breeding

Last updated 10 months ago

Every Fracctal Monster is 100% visually unique with no repeats. Due to this mechanic, monster breeding can only be accomplished across different elements. Single element monsters are sold in packs and mixed element monsters can be created by breeding.

For example, our first Fracctal Monsters NFT collection features 16 pure Plant Monsters, each with every possible combination of their three unique layers, resulting in a total of 4096 unique Monsters.

Below is an example of breeding a Plant Monster with a Water Monster. We can see that six possible combinations exist between these two Monsters. If all six of these Monsters already exist, then these two Monsters will no longer be compatible for breeding.

Our artist has developed a method to seamlessly blend cross-elements Monsters, giving them a more natural appearance. As shown above, the hue is determined by the Monster's predominant element.

Breeding two Monsters successfully results in an egg.

Monster breeding will be introduced in the future, following the launch of our second Fracctal Monsters drop, which will feature Water Monsters.
