# What are Fracctal Tamers

<figure><img src="/files/J6Cs51R4QDpRvGI2FBK6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**The first NFT collection produced by the Fracctal Monster project is the Fracctal Tamers. These NFTs are produced by the creator and artist of the wildly successful** [**Flemish Giants**](https://flemishgiantsnft.com/) **NFT series.**

Players who obtain a Tamer are granted a free plant Fracctal Monster upon game launch. Fracctal Tamers are cosmetic PFP NFTs that can be used on social media, as well as in-game and on the website, to represent your player. **Fracctal Tamers are not required to play the game.** Players who do not have a Fracctal Tamer will be granted a generic in-game avatar.

**Tamer Mechanics**

Each Algorand wallet represents a Tamer (player). Having more monsters in a single wallet grants benefits to the player. This prevents players from spreading out monsters across multiple accounts in hopes of having the advantage of finding more items per day in the exploration mode.

Tamers can be customized using our ARC19-powered Tamer Tool on our website. This tool allows players to switch their gender and skin color at no cost to help players best represent themselves.

**Tamer Level**&#x20;

To further incentivize players to use a single wallet for gameplay, a wallet (aka Tamer) has a level associated with it. The more monsters evolved while using a single wallet the higher the Tamer Level.

Tamer Level benefits can come with rewards such as a higher chance of finding rare items, reduced evolution times, buffed stats, and whitelist slots for future drops.
